Part Time Direct Support Professional

Come and enjoy the benefits of helping people with developmental disabilities as a direct support person at the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Southern Illinois.  No experience necessary.  High school diploma and valid driver’s license required.  All work sites are in Belleville.

Part Time Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional

The QIDP’S primary responsibility is to be a liaison and advocate for consumers within the case management programs (Home Based Services, Community Supported Living Arrangements, Client and Family program).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and one year of experience working directly with individuals with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities, and be eligible for QIDP certification through DHS.

Part Time RN

Part time RN needed for developmental disability CILA residential program. Flexible hours, 20 hours per week.

Part Time Epilepsy Educator

The Epilepsy Educator presents information to employers, rehabilitation professionals, school nurse, law enforcement, and other agencies in the community.

Qualifications: Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent. The ability to pass background checks. Must have a valid driver’s license. Willing to train the right individual. Preferred but not required: Associates Degree and/or Bachelor Degree in education, social work, or related field.  Applicant must be well spoken and have a grasp of effective communication skills.  Be comfortable speaking to large groups. Microsoft Office experience is desirable.
